Da told me to post, so I'm posting dammit, I'M POSTING!

Okay, so, sadly, with the exception of stuff that came out within only the past month or so, I have seen just about every MatsuJun drama/movie known to mankind (it's a disease; you shouldn't laugh, you should pity. Sending cookies would be best, I feel.)

That was, except for Shinjuku Boy Detectives...until last night.

Because without even looking for anything like that or even MatsuJun related, I managed to stumble across someone who uploaded it to...RagTube????

Point being, Da wanted me to post because Shinjuku Boy Detectives came out in 1998 and features not only chibi MatsuJun, but super adorable not quite yet to puberty Aiba - in fact, he's the main star.

This of course means that Da is a perv and I am completely cleared of all accusations of horrific taste and unbecoming conduct. 8D

Point being - Shinjuku Boy Detectives.
Which I can summarize, so to further entice you to spend the next hour and a half of your life staring at RAGTUBE.

Aiba is an urchin who scoots around the city and one night runs into a monster robot.
No, you read right - monster robot.
He somehow connects with a very not through puberty yet MatsuJun and two other girls, one of which is apparently famous somehow. Aiba and MatsuJun romp around and be adorably adorable and the four of them get magic rocks that allow them to communicate with each other and this guy that Da tells me is Yokoyama from K8, who may or may not be a vampire. Or at least highly allergic to sunlight.
There's this bad guy who owns the robot monster and he's keeping this girl who may or may not be his daughter and/or a vampire too. Our plucky little group of four romp around all gay like, including an attempt at the can-can by our squeaky voiced soon to be Arashi members, until famous girl is...scandalized somehow and goes home to angst. Famous girl decides to go save held captive may or may not be a vampire girl and thus the plucky group comes together, with other girl showing off her mad martial arts skills, MatsuJun somehow being some sort of computer wizard, and Aiba...well Aiba is persistent. And wears an orange hooded coat!
Did I mention he scoots?

I can't give any more description as I am hindered by my lack of fluency in Japanese and Chinese (subs) and the fact that I don't really care. As if any of us ever watched anything JE related for its plot.

But MatsuJun and Aiba are ridiculously adorable trying to be big kids. 8D

Kind of reminded me of the crap I used to watch really late at night back when this was current. @_@
